Fern Reiss witnessed firsthand the effects of terrorism and trauma on children in Israel, Africa, and Asia. She is an honors graduate from Harvard University with a degree in government. She writes frequently about parenting and psychology for major magazines including Sesame Street, Scholastic Parent and Child, Moment, and Parade. Fern's other books include the award-winning The Infertility Diet: Get Pregnant and Prevent Miscarriage, and The Publishing Game. She is a nationally-known professional speaker who speaks at libraries, schools, corporate meetings, and cruise ships on topics as diverse as terrorism, parenting, infertility, and publishing.
